I’m a day late, but Merry Christmas y’all! Since like forever, I’ve been wanting to go to NYC to see the Christmas decorations, and this year, I finally got a chance to go. It was so beautiful, but I’m beyond disappointed that I didn’t get to see the tree at Rockefeller lit because we got there too late. Who knew that the city that never sleeps turned the lights out at midnight??! But anywho, I wanted to share some of my fave pics as well as a couple must do things when you go!
See a Broadway show.
We saw the Donna Summer musical. I wasn’t super familiar with her songs, but it was such a great show, and very entertaining.
Eat at Carmine’s
Y’all the portions were ginormous. We actually shared this one plate. It was worth the long wait. This was chicken parmigiana.
Go to Macy’s at Herald Square
It’s ginormous! I didn’t buy anything because I was slightly overwhelmed, but I really went to see the giant snow globe!
And here’s just some random pics.
Oh, I also saw the Hotel Empire from Gossip Girl! I loved that show!!!
I did do a little shopping. We don’t have a Zara where I live, so I was super excited to go there. I had also heard a lot about Century 21. I only found a skirt there, but if you’re looking for designer items for a discount, check it out. I saw Loubs, Giuseppe’s, and so many more high end shoe brands. Most seemed to be from last season, and nothing was screaming my name so I didn’t buy. I also got a couple things from street vendors. If I had more time, I would have gone to more places. NYC is definitely a shopper’s paradise!
Where do you love to shop or dine while in NYC? I still have a list of places I still need to check out! Oh well, next time!
