Hey y’all! It’s been a crazy busy month! But I tried something really cool a couple weeks ago and I could hardly wait to share. I got lash extensions! To know me is to know that I love all things va va voom lash related. I’ve tried the strips on my own, but always wanted to try extensions. For one, they last longer and less aggravating than putting on strips everyday. And they look so much more natural because they are individually attached to your individual lashes.
So, I had them done 2 weeks ago. I just wanted to try them for my wedding. So I scheduled a consultation. I didn’t realize I’d get to try basically a full set! So I have been wearing them for 2 weeks now.
The application took about an hour and was super relaxing since I was laying there with my eyes closed. I didn’t have any irritation. Maybe a slight tingling under my eyes from the collagen pad that was under my eyes during the process but that was it.

As you can see, some of the lashes have fallen off so it’s definitely time for a refill. They last normally about 2 weeks or basically as your own lashes grow, they fall off. I haven’t noticed any damage to my own lashes, which is what I was worried about. I’d try them again for sure. Not sure if I’ll add this to my permanent beauty regimen, but definitely would do them again for special occasions. If you’ve been considering getting them, just do it already!
