I hope y’all had an amazeballs Thanksgiving! For me, I felt a lot of sadness, missing my parents, but hubby and I made the most of it and went on a fun road trip. I’m super thankful that I’m not doing life alone in this season!
This week’s brain dump. Let’s discuss!
- I remember working at Walmart in the 90s, at the height of black Friday shopping, witnessing unnecessary fights over items. You just had to be there! 😂
- While we were driving on Thanksgiving day, I started to wonder if anyone has ever crashed a Thanksgiving dinner 🤔 could be fun 😂
- Doing your makeup in crappy bathroom lighting is a disaster! My eyebrows didn’t match for the two days we were gone 😂
- For the first time EVER I didn’t pack extra outfits. Didn’t think that was possible!
- Why did we drive an hour into a two hour trip, turn around to go back home to get something we thought “we” forgot, and ended up having it the whole time 🤦🏽♀️😂
- Dear white friends, your weave tracks aren’t supposed to show 👀
- How come when you don’t make a lot of something it turns out to be the best ever?!
- Personally my year wasn’t bad, coulda been better of course, but for some of my peeps who I love, it was rough. Praying next year will be the most amazeballs year that they deserve. Better days are coming!
- Bought a scrumptious looking jar of homemade salsa at a produce stand. Got me a fresh bag of chips and everything…there was a hair in the salsa 🤮 and the collards were kinda sad looking, but tasted delish. Don’t think I’m going back there!
- Had a pb&j sandwich last week for the first time in forever. Afterwards my lips started tingling and I started itching and turning red. Hope I’m not allergic to peanut butter now!
