Extend your lip color wear with lip primer, it works! 

These days it seems there’s a primer for everything! Face, eyes, and now lips! When I saw a lip primer in CVS, I was a little skeptical and even asked myself, do I REALLY need this?! 

I was looking around in CVS a few weeks ago because I had $5 in extra bucks burning a hole in my pocket, when I noticed the MUA display. I had never tried any of their products, it was on sale, 25% off, so I figured the timing was perfect to try it out! Because I’m trying to make an effort to cut down on buying more cosmetics, especially lippies, I was looking for something I didn’t already have. When I saw the lip primer, I was very curious. So, I decided to give it a go, and I’m glad I did. 

I don’t know about you, but I get annoyed with having to reapply lipstick all throughout the day! This product works very well, and really extends the wear of my lippies. Both lipstick and gloss actually. To give you an idea, I only reapplied once yesterday, when I usually reapply my lipstick at least 3 times during the day. So, I’d definitely recommend it. 

   
It is a nude color in a matte finish when you apply it, but it didn’t alter the color of the lipstick or gloss at all, which is what my concern was. 

I’ve tried blotting my lipstick after applying, using powder as a base, and other things, but do you have any tricks to extend your lippie wear? I’d love to hear your ideas!
