Happy Monday y’all! The weekend was a blur, per usual. We took a class on Saturday and had to wake up around 6:30 and I’m still not over getting up that early on a Saturday 🤪
This week’s brain dump. Let’s discuss!
- Sometimes I wish I couldn’t cook well so I could just order out all the time 🤷🏽♀️😂 but restaurant food has been so underwhelming at most places lately.
- There’s a fine line between helping and enabling, and I’m not so sure I know the difference…
- Another year of not being at the Derby 😢 and like always if I had bet on the horse I chose I would have won something!
- Paid $35 for 2 watermelons on Saturday. $35! And so far the first one isn’t sweet 🤬
- I had forgotten about this story until yesterday, but I used to go to a church in the early 2000s that had a balcony and that’s where I’d sit. It was a popular church, so lots of people and the parking lot was bananas trying to get out. So I’d leave before the benediction to try to beat the rush. One Sunday I fell going down the stairs! My butt was going down each stair, I was wearing a skirt and it was warm weather, so no tights, so errrrthang was out 🤦🏽♀️ AND my shoes were at the bottom of the stair case. Thank God only one usher was coming up the stairs and saw, and he had to help me up and hand me my shoes 🤣 soooooooo embarrassing! And I never left church early again 🤣
- Every single year around this time, we always get an an invasion in the kitchen 🤬
- Truth be told, we all got something embarrassing or shameful we don’t want others to know or talk about. Think about that when spreading gossip 🤷🏽♀️
