Happy Thursday y’all! Whelp it’s almost the end of the week and I’m just getting around to this 😂 but I hope y’all have had an amazeballs week! It’s been a short week for me and I enjoyed downtime on Monday, but I’m definitely ready for the weekend. And it’s supposed to finally feel like fall this weekend…for a few days anyway! Anywho, this week’s brain dump. Let’s discuss!
- Northerners add an er to a word the way southerners and an s 🤣 WTH is an umbreller?? 🤣
- Raise your hand if you ever injured yourself doing nothing or not even remember how 🤦🏽♀️ Last Friday night I somehow did something to my elbow and ended up not being able to lift my arm and ended up at an emergency Orthopedic doctor’s office on Saturday, but only after wasting our gas driving around for about an hour trying to find an urgent care with an x ray…American health insurance is super backwards!
- As soon as the lips don’t match the words when I’m watching tv, I normally lose interest, but Perfect Lie on Netflix was pretty good.
- I sure do miss my mama and especially her prayers. Since she’s been gone, I’ve become the family prayer person. I was never a pray out loud person and surely not a pray with a stranger person…but yesterday we had a guy come do some work at the house and as soon as I answered the door he started crying and telling me he lost his son the night before. Before he left I asked hubby to ask him if I could pray for him and we prayed, hugged, and gave him a smidge of comfort for just a little while. Thank you mama for teaching me how to pray…
- Charlotte got entirely too many scandals going on at the same time, I can hardly keep up!!! 👀
