Happy Wednesday y’all! This week has been difficult. My mama’s death anniversary is on the 21st, so this time of year is heavy for me. This weekend, I went to the cemetery to take flowers. I hate going there, just makes it all so much more real. Anywho, I hope y’all are having an amazeballs week! Doesn’t make sense for all of us to be sad 🤣🤷🏽♀️

- My morning Gospel playlist is mostly very old quartet music. Guess I have the parents to thank for that since that’s what we were raised on. They have some of the most talented musicians on those instruments!
- Saw Chubby Checker’s tour bus on 85 this weekend. I didn’t know he was still with us, and why is he 84 still having to tour?? I pray that I make it to 84, but please sweet Baby Jesus, don’t have me still working at that age!
- I guess when someone tells you they got your back in a workplace setting, it doesn’t mean the same as in the streets 🙄
- Saw a double rainbow on Saturday while driving back home. I was really in my feelings so it was right on time. God never forgets His promises.
- Not sure what’s up with my fascination with shows about drug dealers, but if that’s the plot, I’m watching 🤷🏽♀️😂
- It’s soup season! But fall, where you at?!
