Hair. Y’all mine has been on the struggle bus for years. Stress, combined with relaxers, and on top of that, color; mine has been through some things. When it’s good, it’s really good, but when it’s bad…it’s bad! For the last couple years, I’ve been taking HSN (hair, skin & nails) vitamins, but about a year ago, I added Neocell collagen to the mix, and I’ve had super good results. My hair is finally getting thicker and the short side is finally growing! Oh, and an added bonus, my skin looks amazeballs!
Here are the HSN vitamins I take. You can pretty much find them anywhere and CVS regularly has them BOGO.
Here’s the collagen. It’s cheaper on Amazon. Collagen is also great for skin and joints. We need more collagen as we age.
Here’s what my hair looked like last year and now. You can see the difference in thickness. I pray the stress situation takes a backseat so that I can see how long my hair will grow.
Now, I’m not a dermatologist, or any other medical professional, so seek yours for their opinion before starting to take any new supplements. But, if you’re looking for something to help with hair growth, this works for me. That, and drinking plenty of water. There are certain foods that help too, so research those as well.
