Empty jar report: gleamin

To know me is to know that I’m a beauty product junkie, and especially when it comes to masks. I’m always trying something new, and if it promises to help treat hyperpigmentation, I’m all in! One of the latest I’ve tried is by gleamin. It’s a tumeric mask that has other good skin stuff in it like aloe. And, it doesn’t stain like other tumeric masks can. Funny story, I started doing masks on hubby too, and today he has orange in his beard thanks to a different tumeric mask we used last night! It also stained my sink and tub. You have to be so careful with turmeric, but it works wonders on your skin, so I guess it’s worth it.

As you can see, I used just about every last drop of this product.

What I liked most about it is the slight tingling I felt right after applying. It did also help with the dark spot on the back of my neck that I feel like I’ve been trying to get rid of forever! This jar lasted about a month and I used it 3 times per week. I also used it under my arms and knees because those areas are also a little dark, and I did see some improvement. My skin also appeared brighter after using it, I’m assuming from the vitamin C. Now, as far as pricing this one is on the higher end at about $40. Was it worth it? I think so, but unless I get a promo code, I’m not sure I’ll order again. And speaking of promo codes, I have gotten 2 so far by email since I’ve ordered. And if you subscribe, I think you get 10% off or something like that. But I’m still trying some others that I may like better, so I just haven’t decided to reorder just yet.

Have you guys tried any good masks lately? I have a new favorite that I’m using now. I found it at a cute little store in Beaufort, SC called Bathe. It’s an activated charcoal mask that literally leaves your skin glowing. If you’re ever in the area, check them out. You won’t be sorry! I may do a review blog post later, but Google Bathe in Beaufort if you’re interested. You can also shop online.
